School

I’m officially employed at Naemyeon Middle School, but because they only have one class per grade (that’s three classes in total, a max of 3 hrs each of English-only class a week), I can’t make up my 22 teaching hours here alone. So I’ve been told I will also get a Yr 11 and a Yr 12 class at Naemyeon High School, which is across the playground from the middle school. I’ve had introduction classes with all three classes in middle school this week. Yr 7 and 8 are quiet but attentive. English skills are OK. Yr 9 is really responsive and fun. English skills intermediate. Have yet to meet the high schoolers, but from what I’ve noticed of them, they are pretty disrespectful and nonchalant about their education. Should be interesting to see how that goes. And apparently, I have to teach at two elementary schools as well! All these classes start next week. Overload the only native English teacher in the region much? OHHHHHHHHH YEHHHHH BRING IT ON!
