Changes

It’s Autumn, or Fall as they like to say here. I can't wait to see the trees changing colour, it’s gonna be beautiful. You don’t really see it that much back home. Thought I’d change the blog background to match too! The parentals are coming to visit next week during thanksgiving holiday (Chuseok). EEEEP.

Last week, the Office of Education started Korean classes for the new bunch of EPIK teachers, and we’re ALL expected to attend 3 times a week. But for me having to travel after school 1hr to Hongcheon then back 3 times a week was ridiculous, so I'm exempt apparently. Yo I am the only one (of like 16 total teachers) in the district who doesn’t live in the city. Everyone who teaches rural has to travel out. I don't know which I prefer, guess there’s perks to both, me no travelling (though I travel between 5 schools every week), but also none of anything else either....

I'm studying Korean myself with the textbook and audios almost nightly. Its fun, I love languages and studying properly and regularly makes me feel like I'm finally making some good progress.
