Last weekend, my good friends Hannah and Matt (THE greatest couple in the world and who, sadly, are leaving at the end of the month) were going to come to Chuncheon for a visit. What happened instead was the biggest snowfall in Korea in a century (see here), meaning that roads, houses, pretty much everything was buried under 2-3 feet of snow over the course of one night. Needless to say they couldn't get out of their city and we had to postpone our farewells for this week.
Isn't snow fun? It's pretty when everything's white and fluffy and you're warm, but man is it hard to get around when it's really coming down and it's kind of gross when it melts and turns into a brown sludge.
