The 'One Year'

A couple of days ago, we celebrated our one year in Korea. On the 18th Feb 2010, we arrived at EPIK orientation, a bunch of excited, bright eyed, naive young men and women from all over the world. One year later, we are more or less the same people but a little more jaded, and with a few less brain cells.
As our year-long contract comes to an end, a lot of my close friends are renewing (like me), but a few are not and that means they have to leave pretty soon. This year I've learnt so much from these guys, whether it be about their home countries or stuff they've just taught me about life in general.
Some of the people I've met here are the nicest, most beautiful, interesting, fun and hilarious people I've ever had the privilege of meeting. And though it pains me to see them go, not really knowing if I'll ever see them again, it's been an awesome year and I am so thankful for having met them and for their positive influence on my time here. All the best, and much love!
